Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) hosts its inaugural webinar to mark the opening of Al Baraka Group
Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited hosted an industry-first webinar showcasing the Inter Franchise Collaboration between Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Limited (ABPL) and Al Baraka Bank South Africa (ABL SA).
Webinar participants aimed at connecting exporters from Pakistan residing in South Africa with importers from South Africa to expand trade between both nations, with Mr. Ms. Houssem Haj Amor of Al Baraka Group chairing and declaring there would be similar cooperation among ten additional countries beyond just Pakistan and South Africa.
Attendees included some of the biggest names from business. All had positive comments to offer regarding the results of the webcast.
Dr. Ishrat Hussain, former Governor of SBP, was present, along with former SBP Governor Akhtar Jawaid, Executive Director of Banking Policy SBP Akhtar Jawaid, and the South Africa High Commissioner in Pakistan.
His Excellency Mthuthuzeli Madikiza from Her Excellence Mthuthuzeli Madikiza and Pakistan High Commissioner to South Africa, His Excellency Aftab Hasan Khan, representing their respective nations respectively in South Africa – were present.
