Dua Lipa Biography
English pop singer-songwriter Dua Lipa was born in London on August 22, 1995, to parents Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa, who were originally from Kosovo Albania. Dua, the eldest of three children, began her musical career by listening to her father, who played lead guitar and vocals for the Kosovan rock group Oda.

At the age of nine, Dua started taking singing classes after learning how to play multiple instruments, including the cello. After Kosovo gained its independence in 2008, Dua and her family returned there as she concentrated on her music.
However, Dua returned to London at the age of 15, where she started a modeling career with Top Shop in addition to posting her covers to YouTube.

In 2014, Dua signed a record deal with Warner Bros. and had a few semi-successful dance tunes and collaborations. The track “New Rules,” off her self-titled debut studio album, which was released in June 2017, was the catalyst for Dua’s eventual rise to fame.
It was the first number-one for a female solo artist in the UK since Adele’s “Hello” in 2015. Dua is the first female artist to receive five nominations at the 2018 Brit Awards.
Then, in 2019, she released her album Future Nostalgia, which became an international hit! In addition to receiving great reviews from critics, Dua’s album led to her being nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year. She won British Album of the Year and British Female Solo Artist at the 2021 Brit Awards.
Dua has won six Brit Awards, three Grammys, two MTV Video Music Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, an American Music Award, two Guinness World Records, and two MTV Europe Music Awards overall.
Love Life:
For over two years, Dua had an intermittent relationship with Anwar, the brother of Bella and Gigi Hadid. The two had many romantic date nights out together while they were dating, and Dua even admitted at one point that she felt more “comfortable” in her relationship with Anwar than she had ever felt with anybody else. But in December 2021, they formally called it quits.
Trevor Noah, the host of The Daily Show, just revealed he would be leaving the position after seven years, and Dua has most recently been linked to him. In September 2022, the couple was photographed sharing a kiss in New York, which ignited rumors of a romance.
