Regal Automobile (DFSK) plans to unveil Pakistan’s inaugural electric battery vehicle (BEV), Series 3, on October 23rd between 8 AM and noon.

Government notifications indicate Series 3 will initially be offered as a Completely Built-Up (CBU), priced at 11.8 million rupees (11.8 Million). Booking costs amount to 5,000,000 rupees (5 Million). A 90-day shipping estimate has also been given; its 49.34 Kilowatt battery can allow it to travel over 40 km on a single charge.

As soon as March 2024 approaches, the automaker will introduce Seres 3 as a locally manufactured vehicle in Pakistan at an initial price of Rs 9.6 million and after that for Rs 3 million (bookable price). Local assembly of this model should then commence while its engine is powering its CBU version.

DFSK Series 3 will compete directly against MG ZS EV since its sole competitor is an electric vehicle (EV). Due to being fully electrical, Series 3 should deliver sufficient performance with electric motors producing 160 HP and 300 Nm of torque for excellent results.

Series 3 offers advanced driver assistance features like lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency brake, and more.

However, at an estimated cost of over one crore. One crore Series 3 will only appeal to a select few car owners.
