Since its release a little more than 48 hours ago, the brand-new social media app that Meta developed as a competitor to Twitter has already garnered a user base of more than 44 million people. There are 44 million users on Threads, and 2.4 million follow MrBeast.

On July 7, at 10:14 am EDT, the YouTuber, who is 25 years old, gained one million subscribers. This was only a few hours after the YouTuber joined the app. Mr. Beast has earned himself a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records by becoming the first person to attain this particular benchmark.

The precise moment that MrBeast’s 2.4M Threads followers transformed into 1 million is displayed in a video produced by Guinness World Records. However, when the firm keeping records tweeted the video, Mr. Beast said, “Shhhhh, don’t let the Twitter police know I’m cheating on them.”
